Mike and Megan were flirting with the idea of having their wedding here on Lesvos, since Mike's parents recently bought a house just underneath the Byzantine Castle of Molyvos. So you can imagine what a wonderful and touching ceremony that was. Just by the very old Castle at the wonderful lounge bar "Byzantino", with the backdrop of the most magical blue waters of the Aegean Sea, surrounded by friends and family who came all the way from home to witness Mike & Megan become husband and wife. Megan walked down the aisle accompanied by live Greek tradtional music and when her future mother in law, Christine, said her first few words, I was in tears. And I wasn't the only one! The rings came after some jelly beans that the couple had to have (personal joke) and the fact tht this couple was so relaxed and laid back, made the ceremomy so true and authentic. The magestic aura of the ancient Greeks did its trick! Then the party begun. At the Taverna Vafios, with music, traditional Greek meze, lots of drink and a surprise... a traditional Greek dancing team. You can not imagine what happened. The Scottish dancing, the Greek dancing, the Scotish whisky, the Greek ouzo... oh the fun!! This was a wedding to remember.
